5 Ways to Decorate with Teardrops

Christmas teardrops are an eye-catching addition to any holiday decor but they can seem challenging to use. Today, we are going to share 5 of our favorite ways to decorate with teardrops. There is bound to be at least one way that is ideal for your home or office. Many of the teardrops we are going to feature today also have coordinating trees, garlands, and wreaths available. Stock up on all the items in each collection for a cohesive design.

1. Front Door Decor

We have all seen wreaths used to adorn a front door for the holidays. But if you are looking for something a little bit different, trade out the traditional wreath for a beautiful teardrop. Hang it just like you would a wreath, but enjoy the dangling beauty it provides. Use one on a single door or a pair of them on double doors.

2. Flank a Mantle

Frame out your mantle by hanging a beautiful
teardrop from both of the corners. These teardrops
look even better when paired with a coordinating
garland. Bows can also be added to the top of each
teardrop for a little added touch. Imagine how
gorgeous a pair of these would be cascading down
the sides of a brick or stone fireplace. Mount a
matching wreath above and a few festive accent
pieces along the hearth to complete the look.

3. Top Off a Banister

We have all seen garlands carefully wrapped around railings and down the banister. But what do you do once you reach the end of the banister? Why not complete the look by hanging a big, beautiful teardrop down the final supportive beam of your stair railing? The result is absolutely stunning and a welcomed addition to Christmas decorations.

4. Decorate a Wall Sconce

Wall sconces are used inside and outside the home
for extra illumination. Accentuate these wall sconces
by hanging a beautiful wall sconce from them.
Christmas teardrops look amazing hanging from the
sconces that flank a garage, bed, or sofa. When using
them outdoors, make sure to choose a teardrop that is
appropriate for outdoor use.

5. Decorate a Deck

Create a spectacular outdoor setting this holiday season by combining garlands and teardrops to decorate a deck. Start by gently swagging garlands between deck posts. Finish it off by hanging a long, full teardrop from each of the corners. This method could also be used to line the framework of a pergola.
