Light Wrapped Trees

Tonight, I had dinner at my favorite waterfront restaurant. The outdoor deck has been built around the existing trees, which are covered in long tendrils of Spanish moss. The restaurant further honors the natural beauty of the surroundings by wrapping the trunks and branches in clear white lights. If you live on a property will well established trees, make the most of them by illuminating them in this way. Light wrapped trees add instant elegance to any space.

When choosing your lights, pick ones that are on a wire that blends in with the color of the trunk of the tree. Brown works great for most trees but white is ideal for birch trees. For large trees, you can always plug multiple strands of lights into one another. Once you have them wound up around the tree, connect the bottom most cord to an extension cord that runs to the nearest outlet.

With lights like these decorating your trees, your back deck will become your favorite place to spend your evenings.
