Fall DIY Projects to Come

It is time for fall and what better way to get in that fall mood than by decorating your home with beautiful orange flowers and cinnamon-scented pinecones? The beginning of fall is one of my favorite times of year because it marks the beginning of the holiday season. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are each holidays that have their own beautiful decorating style. Make the most of your holiday arrangements by choosing color schemes that can take you from September right up through the holidays.

Tall Preserved Arrangement

If you are like me, and you love a good home décor or DIY project, you are in luck. Over the coming weeks we will have many in-depth photo tutorials that will give you step-by-step instructions on how to create many wreaths, floral arrangements, and even some crafts with kids.

In preparation for this special time, I have one recommendation. Check out the sale racks of your local big box stores. Just yesterday I picked up a short vase, two orange pillar candles, a table runner, and a set of autumn-colored acrylic tumblers, all of which totaled just 8 dollars. When you start your project with a great sale item as a foundation piece you have the freedom to splurge a little bit on the extra components that you add to it.

It does not matter whether you are a beginner crafter or an experienced hobbyist, these projects are sure to appeal to all. If you have no interest in creating custom floral arrangements from scratch there is an easier option. In just minutes you can order a beautiful fall arrangement like this one and watch as it completely transforms your home. Better yet, you can mix and matched purchased arrangements with handmade décor items.

This weekend dust off your fall décor, get out your glue gun, and check back to our blog on Monday for the first of our upcoming fall DIY projects.
