Standard Warranty & Christmas Warranty
General Warranty

Any item sold on artificialplantsandtrees.com with the exception of Christmas items (please read our “Christmas Warranty”) comes with our one (1) year guarantee from structural defects. Products marked specifically for outdoor use are guaranteed for one year not to fade in direct sunlight. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide photos to customer service of a defect to initiate your warranty claim.
Photos can be emailed to customer service, mailed to our billing address or faxed to 888-532-0231, please include your original order number and current contact information with your photos.
Within the first 30 days of the warranty, our company will pay shipping both ways to repair or replace your damaged item. In months 2 – 12 it is the customer’s responsibility to ship their item back to the warehouse for inspection. If the item is deemed defective, the warehouse will repair and/or replace the item and pay for return shipping back to the customer.
If your exact item can’t be repaired and is no longer in stock we will replace it with one that is equal to the original price paid.
Exclusions
- Any item not marked specifically for outdoor use is not covered for damages resulting from outside use.
- This warranty does not cover weather related damages for any product whatsoever (both indoor and outdoor).
- Indoor use items are not warrantied against fading (indoor or outdoor use).
- This warranty is null and void if the customer structurally alters the item in any way.
- This warranty does not cover wear and tear from normal every day use.
- All Christmas items are excluded from our general policy. Please read “Christmas Warranty” for instructions.
Christmas Warranty
Please refer to the specific product page to determine the length of the warranty for the item you are interested in. If a Christmas item does not specify a warranty period on the product page the warranty is a one (1) year limited structural warranty.
If you have any problem with your product during the holiday season, please contact customer service. We will be happy to troubleshoot with you and provide a solution to ensure that your item will be working for your Christmas holiday.
Limited Structural Warranty
Our Christmas tree and wreath metal frames are guaranteed for a specified amount of time listed on the product page from the date of your purchase. This warranty includes all metal construction including the tree stand. The warranty is null and void if the product is intentionally altered or damaged due to misuse, neglect, or weather damage. This warranty is voided if you have used your item outdoors. This warranty does not cover damage to tree, wreath and garland needles. You must have an RMA number for any return or exchange prior to shipping.
Limited Light Warranty
All of our pre-lit trees, wreaths, topiaries and garlands are covered by a light warranty. This warranty includes any faulty wiring and light socket failures only. This warranty does not include burned out, missing or broken light bulbs. No exceptions.
This warranty excludes normal bulb burnout including damage resulting from misuse, outdoor usage and alteration that can cause multiple-bulb failure. These issues are not covered by the limited light warranty and are your responsibility. The warranty is void if the product is misused or damaged in any way. If a returned tree, wreath, garland, is shipped back and found to be nonfunctional due to user misuse, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges.
If lights are not working on your item:
- We will first attempt to assist you to fix your lights. If you have purchased a “clear light” tree we suggest that you purchase the Lightkeeper Pro light tester. Please test your lights to ensure you do not have a burned out bulb that needs to be replaced.
- If we are unsuccessful in repairing your item with you over the phone, we will issue you an RMA number for your repair and/or exchange. You will need to box up your original product for the exchange and it must be returned to us in the original packaging.
- The customer is responsible for shipping charges to Artificial Plants and Trees. We will pay return freight for the fixed or exchanged item back to you.
- You must have an RMA number for any return or exchange prior to shipping.
- We may ship you a temporary strand of lights during the holiday season so you will not be without your item for the holidays. We can then repair your item in the off-season.
- If your exact item can’t be repaired and is no longer in stock we will replace it with one that is equal to the original price paid.
Light warranty exceptions:
- Artificial Plants and Trees does not repair burned out lights. Burned out lights happen through normal usage and you are responsible for fixing these lights.
- Please make sure before you return a product for repair, it is not due to burned out, broken, or missing light bulbs. This is NOT covered under the light warranty.
- If you return an item and it is determined that the light damage was due to a burned out, broken or missing light bulb, you will be responsible for return shipping. NO EXCEPTIONS.
