5 Ways to Use Lighted Twigs to Decorate for the Holidays

Today we are going to celebrate one of our favorite trends in Christmas decorating, lighted twigs. Lighted twigs are available in a wide range of colors and lengths. They make a beautiful addition to your existing holiday decor, both inside the home and outside the home. We have five inspiring ideas for how to use these beautiful holiday decorations.

Lighted Twigs Lighted Twigs

 1. Inside a Basket

Placing a grouping of lighted twigs inside a decorative basket is a great way to add height and light to an otherwise boring arrangement. Add in some pinecones, perhaps a red blanket, and even some ornaments to complete the vignette.

2. Create a Centerpiece

A few lighted twigs inside a cylinder vase results in an instant table centerpiece Add in some decorative glass rocks or mini ornaments for an extra pop of color and shine. For a longer table, consider lining up multiple vases down the center of the table.

3. Lay them on a Mantel

Place two  bundles of lighted twigs down on the mantle, with the bottom ends meeting together in the center. Place a few pinecones and ornaments over the end, perhaps even a few sprays of greenery.

4. Flank a Walkway

Our outdoor stakes of lighted swings can be placed right in the ground and plugged into an extension cord. These outdoor lighted twigs can be used to flank a walkway, line a fence, or illuminate parts of a flower bed.

5. Fill an Outdoor Planter

Outdoor planters with seasonal flowers are ideal places to display lighted twigs. Once your season flowers have died, rip them out and replace them with lighted twigs The result will be simply stunning.
