Featured: Artificial Plants Decorating a Walkway

We love when we have the opportunity to see our artificial plants in use. Today, we would like to share with you how a Florida resident and valued customer of ours completely transformed the walkway to her front door using a combination of artificial bromeliads and bougainvillea. The result is completely stunning and low maintenance. You have to see this one to believe it.

Walkway

The Clean Slate

This walkway runs between a tall row of trees and the side of the house. A position like this can be very dark if not decorated properly. There is an added challenge in that nearly the entire width of the space features pavers. A very narrow strip on either side is all that is available for plants.

Natural plants would have been difficult to use because there is very little soil and limited light. A final problem with the space is that the exterior wall of the home is very large and blank. Our customer was able to solve all of these issues. Ready to see how?

The Solution

She started by placing large iron trellises along the walls. Then she decorated those trellises with our beautiful artificial bougainvillea hanging plants in a crisp cream color. Once all the bougainvillea were attached she planted a single row of bright red bromeliads accented by small green plants down the length of the walkway. Some small rocks around the artificial plants finished off the look perfectly.

We are in love with the finished result and thank Jodi for sharing this lovely pictures of her project. Hopefully it has inspired you to update the outside of your home with our selection of artificial plants and flowers.
