DIY Wall Plants

One home décor trend we absolutely love is the use of wall plants as art for the home. Giving walls dimension is a surefire way to add a little intrigue to your environment, and it is nice to try something new in a world where wall art usually consists of pictures, painting and mirrors.

When you use wall plants, you aren’t just mixing up your wall art repertoire; you are also finding new ways to use greenery to liven up your space. Floor plants and hanging plants are great, but seeing them mounted on the wall is definitely a break from the ordinary.

The best part about wall plant displays is they are an easy do-it-yourself project, and one you can put your own creative spin on. Try to envision how you can recycle common household items, like glass jars or tin cans, to make a wall plant fixture with rustic charm. Here are two great examples:

In case you’re worried about keeping wall plants alive, we encourage you to try artificial plants in your display. It’s a simple solution, and the authenticity of our silk plants is fantastic. Here is an artificial succulent, which is very similar to the air plants shown in the previous photo:

There you have it; your next DIY home decorating project. Happy hanging!
